Call for Papers 2027

Get actively involved in the med.Logistica 2027 conference programme

The med.Logistica 2027 conference programme will address current issues in process management within inpatient and outpatient care through presentations, panel discussions and workshops, and will showcase successful practical solutions.

As an expert, we warmly invite you to present solutions to problems, practical experience that can be applied in other contexts, the latest findings from research and development, and how these are being implemented as part of the med.Logistica 2027 conference programme.

By submitting your entry, you can also apply for the Leipzig Innovation Award for Hospital Logistics.

(An application for this prize must be accompanied by a submitted paper.)

Abstract submission

Please use our Call for Papers exclusively for the submission of papers.

Submit your presentations here!

To ensure that the entries submitted can be compared, we are unfortunately unable to accept submissions by any other means.

All contributions must be presented in a manner that is independent of specific products and manufacturers, and should highlight current issues and successful practical solutions. Product presentations and promotional talks are strictly prohibited.

A presentation must be delivered in person by a representative from a hospital or outpatient facility. (If you are an industrial company interested in giving a product presentation or showcasing your portfolio, there is a suitable event format for this within the med.Logistica trade fair. To do so, please select the option to submit an exhibitor presentation via our website.)

Submission deadline: 16 October 2026*

(*For best-practice presentations as part of the conference programme)

(A different deadline applies to exhibitor presentations at the trade fair. We will accept your presentations for this until around the beginning of April – provided that presentation slots are still available.)

Contents of the abstract

  • Formulation of the problem
  • Approach and results of the paper
  • Identification of the benefits

Programme compilation – Selection Committee

The Programme Advisory Board will decide whether to include your contribution in the med.Logistica 2027 conference programme and will finalise the programme of presentations in November 2026. The Programme Committee is also responsible for organising individual presentations into thematic blocks. You will be notified of the Advisory Board’s decision immediately afterwards.

Selection criteria

  • Innovation: preference is given to new, forward-looking topics presented in an innovative way.
  • Practical relevance: the presentation of content that is relevant to professional practice and serves as a model is encouraged. In the case of reports on projects still in progress, it is expected that the report will cover not only the project objectives but, above all, the project results already available.
  • Presentation style: clear, engaging and accessible to a general audience; participatory formats (panel discussions, workshops) are encouraged. Detailed descriptions of the presenter’s own organisation and repetitions lacking any new information are not encouraged.

Publication of abstracts

By submitting their abstracts, speakers confirm their consent to the publication of the abstracts on the conference website, in print media and in med.Logistica’s electronic newsletters. In addition, they must provide their presentation to the chair in advance to allow for preparation. Further details will be provided to speakers once their presentation has been accepted (upload options, ticket delivery, remuneration/invoicing).

Your presentation

A presentation must be delivered in person by, or on behalf of, a representative from a hospital or outpatient facility. An individual presentation lasts a total of 30 minutes, although the speaking time should not exceed 25 minutes to allow time for questions and discussion.

Only individual presentations may be submitted; blocks of presentations are not permitted. References to individual presentations that are related in content or similar in theme may be included in the online form and are encouraged.

Speaker’s fee

Representatives from a hospital or an outpatient facility will receive:

  • an expense allowance of €250.00 for a 25-minute presentation (if there are several speakers, the fee will be shared)
  • hotel accommodation if required (However, bookings must be made through Leipziger Messe. Please contact us in advance.)
  • a 2-day ticket for med.Logistica 2027
  • a ticket for the get-together on the first evening of the conference

Any industry representatives attending the relevant best-practice presentation will receive a two-day ticket for med.Logistica 2027.

Please note that travel expenses will not be covered.

We look forward to receiving your contributions and would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation.
